~ I Draw My Strengths
~
When things get
rough and I do not
understand
What I am to do, or
even what I mean to
you,
I always look for a
hand from the Son of
Man
To guide me through
this rough patch to
the truth.
When feeling like my
world is falling apart
There is nothing I can
do to make it right,
But He is always
there, easing a
hurting heart
He's by my side,
making sure I see the
light.
I may fear not being
at your side when
needed
With my need to
protect you, I could
lose my mind,
But then comes the
voice I am glad I have
heeded
Saying He will protect
you, 'til our oneness
we find.
Hurt and neglected I
find myself feeling
Helpless to do, what I
feel I must to help
you through,
A whisper tells me it
is your own pain
within
It is nothing that I
have said, or even may
do.
So when I may question
our love, beautiful
and rare
Feeling unsure of
myself, filling up
with doubt,
He opens my eyes
showing me your love
is still there
And that is the one
thing, I cannot live
without.
So now you know why my
love for you never
fades
He is my strength when
we're feeling so weak,
So that our love can
last until our final
days
The future together,
never ever looks
bleak.
