~ Inner Strength ~

Have you ever wanted the world to leave you alone
Just to be by yourself not even answer the phone
Feel as if all you want to do is go out the door
That nobody wants to talk to you if you're poor.

When you try to be generous all take advantage
To them you are only a year round Santa
When you are down they avoid you like the plague
Cannot get a dime even if you got down and begged.

Times like these I find it is good to pray
Not for yourself but those who ruined your day
For the strength to forgive what they have done
Someday to return the favor in the long run.

With these prayers I get back my inner strength
To return to action with friends once again
To let my anger at the world be released
Be able to live my life with my soul at peace
