~ I See In Myself A Butterfly ~
I see in the sky,
the most beautiful
butterfly
When she opens her wings, she sings
Songs I have forgotten,
She flies in nature
All different colors
of the leaves that
fall
I see in myself a butterfly
that takes
to the air
She is flying everywhere
I see her as she sits on my finger
Sometimes I am made to wonder
A butterfly has wings to set it free
Do I have the same,
What of me.
I hear sweet birds chirp all day long
While she flies over the rainbow
The hope goes on
Looking at a butterfly I see
In myself, someone who looks like me
