It's Okay To Cry ~
There is no need to hide a tear with a lie
The longer we live the more life does change
Even when hidden away from all prying eyes
So many goodbyes will never forget a name.
Tears I have shed hidden behind closed doors
Never wanting anyone else to ever know
Only to have to pick myself up from the floor
So I could meet others, put on a good show.
People change though, especially when others help
Truth as well as trust is given without question
It was then I found what I had always felt
The need to share everything in a confession.
I hid it from myself, so many years did pass
Time wasted without being able to share
Pain I have felt taken from a bitter glass
It is ok to cry because somebody does still care.
