~ Leaving ~

On the day I had to leave you
When my life on earth was 'thru
I shed some tears in the clouds
When I looked down on you

You've got some rocky roads ahead
And many hills to climb
But I'll be watching over you
Take your steps carefully, one day at a time

One thing I can tell you
'Tho my life on earth is o'er
I'm really closer to you now
Than I have ever been before

My Father said keep watching you
And when your spirit's low
To come a little closer
And show you the way to go

Then one day when it's time
And you also have to leave
From the world your soul departs
With a new body, you'll be here with me
