~ Love's Magic Dream ~

From across the table you smiled and said hello
I looked up into those beautiful eyes
And saw the heart and spirit of you that glows
Your sweet smile captured my heart, heaven knows

I wondered if you were heaven sent...
And would you take me there someday..
Or lead me on a path that's hell bent
Could love really be mine again....

Then you took my hand in yours and said..
Can we be friends ...and my heart stopped for a moment
When it started beating again ....it was singing
And from some distant place I heard an Angel winging

You kissed the palm of my hand so tenderly
And pulled me close in your arms and whispered....
You now belong to me

A gentle breeze came in my window awakening me from sleep
And my heart said, this dream you'll keep
