~ A Mother's Prayer ~

I lay my baby
down to sleep
and pray Dear Lord
their soul to keep

Send your Angel's
Lord I pray
protect my baby
from harms way

Dry their tears
if they should cry
let Angel's hum
a lullabye

Keep my baby
safe and warm
help them rest
the whole night long

Wrap my child with
all your love
send your blessings
from above

Keep watchful eye
as they sleep
nights of magic
filled with peace

When they awake
as morning dawns
give them sunshine
all day long
