~ My Daily Prayer ~

Father let me thank You;
my life is truly blessed.
Thank you, too, for holding me
through all of my life's tests.

Thank you for my children,
for my family and their love,
thank you for my friends
and for blessings from above.

Father help me understand
the work that I should do.
Let my eyes be opened
and let my heart be true.

Bless me with Thy love
show me right from wrong,
let me be Thy servant,
let me sing Thy song.

Teach me understanding
that I may learn to see;
give to me the wisdom
to be all that I can be.

Bless all those who suffer
comfort those who mourn,
wrap them in Thy loving arms,
take away their thorns.

Bless the little children
who are hurt by pain and fear,
send them guardian angels
who will wipe away the tears.

Feed all those who hunger;
let no man be alone,
bless this world with peace,
then lead us safely home.

Let me find forgiveness
if I ever hurt someone;
as You forgave the world
in the offering of Your Son.

Father let this prayer
be my fervent, daily plea
that I may someday find my soul
returning back to Thee.
