~ My Heart ~

In my heart there is a new door
On the outside it can't be seen
Because it opens from the inside
So Jesus' love I can receive.

It also is able to open
To many a new friend
And it holds all my old ones
To be there to the very end.

It is open to all the beauty
I see in each one of you
You have a way with words
To cheer me up when I am blue.

The things you do and you say
Will ever be etched in my mind
Because each of you are unique
You are each just one of a kind.

And friend this is what I hope
That each of you feel about me
The same way that I do about you
That my love you can see.
