Though you are so far away
You still brighten up my day
With your words of wisdom
A love that cannot be undone

Friends we are from the start
All my feelings from the heart
You are there when I'm down
Making a smile from a frown

Being neither here nor there
Could be beside me or anywhere
Does not seem to matter you see
As long as you spend some time with me

There is a place inside my heart
Always there to never part
The love you have given great friend
Will be returned 'till the very end
