~ New Year's Resolution ~
I will start afresh each new day
I will see the beauty God sends my way
I will find contentment on paths that I tread
I will not feel resentment as others get ahead.
I will always help others that are in need
I will never be selfish and filled with greed
I will look for things that merit praise
And find treasures that eludes another's gaze.
I will say a prayer for those in distress
I will always try to give a big smile
And I will try and do my very best
To make life brighter and worthwhile.
I will try to live as God would have me do
I will promise always to be honest and true
I will always believe that Jesus is alive and well
And that with God in heaven He does dwell.
