On a cold dark
night in
Bethlehem,
In a stable
far away,
A baby boy was
born for us,
And new hope
was ours that
day.
Because of the
love God felt
for us,
And I know His
heart was
torn,
He sent His
Son as a
sacrifice,
On the night
that Love was
born.
He was not
born on holy
ground,
But born as
lowly as could
be.
This King of
kings who in a
manger lay,
Would die for
you and me.
He was sent
from Heaven's
glory,
And from the
Father who was
left alone,
To live and
die as a
sacrifice,
On the night
that Love was
born.
The bright
star that we
see tonight,
Reminds us of
the home,
That will be
ours for all
eternity,
Because of the
night that
Love was born.

Thank You,
Lord, for the
Sacrifice
On the Night
That Love Was
Born.
