Daddy's
No
Longer
Here
~
Daddy's
chair
is
empty,
His
place
at
the
table
is
void,
He's
no
longer
here
with
us,
He's
gone
to
be
with
the
Lord!
The
slippers
that
sit
by
his
bed
Are
too
much,
to
ever
be
filled
Daddy
was
my
real
hero
He
loved
the
Lord,
obeyed
His
will
Daddy
was
a
friend
to
all
Ready
to
help
someone
in
need,
He
rarely
thought
of
himself,
Worked
hard
his
family
to
feed.
His
life
was
spent
for
other's,
As I
look
back
in
time
and
see,
How
much,
daddy
gave
of
himself
It
makes
me
so
proud
to
be,
The
child
of
such
a
man.
Who
lived
a
good
life
before
all,
Fought
the
good
fight
of
faith,
Then
one
day
Jesus
called.
He
loved
the
holiday
season
Thanksgiving
best
of
all,
But
he
had
to
lay
it
all
down,
He
had
to
go,
Jesus
had
called!
