~ November's Chill

Maybe it's not so
bad, my fingers aren't too cold
Summer is over, we do not need be told.
Yet bitter winds sneak past the insulation
Letting you know the true situation
White is so beautiful, but might last an hour
To let us know it's time to find some shelter
Winter winds are not too far away
Time to let our love create warmth that will
stay
Firs are green in the background and the
branches are bare
Get the wood pile ready for your love fare
Soon you will see December's blanket of white
Wondrous beauty you will see, it is such a sight
But with beauty comes a price
November's chill, becomes cold as ice
Then get ready with those you truly love
Your home will feel warm as a glove
Winter has come, as the days pass right by
Such a chill you feel, even with blue sunny
skies
Though the season may be beautiful, at it's very
best
You still need to get ready, for Jack Frost's
chilly vest
