As she sat and watched
The stars shining above
She thought of all
Her lost true loves

She remembered all
The many broken dreams
And said to herself
"That's just life it seems"

She thought she would never
Find love without end
But then came the thought
Of her new found friend

He was ever so kind
Sweet and gentle too
And he seemed to know
Just what she'd been through

They would talk for hours
And he'd understand
For when she was down
He'd just hold her hand

She knew he was different
From all the rest
And she thought to herself
Yes, he is the best

Her mind then cried out
"Again you could lose"
But she knew in her heart
lt was love she would choose
