~ Prince of Royal Oak ~
The noble animal. A horse it is,
Has just finished the race and won
While many on-lookers watch in awe
After seeing how fast he could run
The name he was called by the owner
'Tis the "Prince of Royal Oak"
As he pranced by the crowd
People just looked, not a word they spoke
He was a dapple gray in color
A head held high with pride
He seemed to know he was a star
As he stood by his masters' side
A beautiful horse shoe of flowers that
Hung around his neck and head
But the thing that brought out the cheers
The race was won, nothing now to dread
The crowd began to dance in the streets
So happy their horse had now won
They all were in one accord
The final race was done!
