Life may seem a valley
A struggle down below
But don't be overcome
with grief
For the river ever flows
Life may seem to go
underground
Of dark and shadowed
view
But there is sure hope
to know
A river's running
through
Life may seem to hit a
wall
Where depths are
building up
But the river will still
overflow
High above the mud
Life may seem the
steepest climb
While longing for a
drink
But you can stoop to
quench your thirst
There's a river in the
grit
Life may seem a barren
walk
As plans go all askew
But Jesus' living water
flows forever
He is the river running
through

I will make rivers flow
on barren heights,
and
springs within the
valleys.
I will turn the desert
into pools of water,
and
the parched ground into
springs.
Isaiah 41:18
For this is what the
LORD says:
"I will
extend peace to her like
a river
Isaiah 66:12
They feast on the
abundance of Your house;
You give them drink from
your river of delights.
Psalm 36:8
Then the angel showed me
the river of the water
of life,
as clear as
crystal,
flowing from the throne
of God and of the Lamb.
Revelation 22:1
