~ Rope ~
I was struggling through life's journey
Holding on with my all.
If I relaxed upon this rope grip
I would stumble, surely fall.
I cried out to all who knew me,
"Help me hold on, please, don't you care?"
Then I waited for an answer.
No one called back-no one was there!
Then I called back unto my Savior,
"Help me Lord! What should I do?"
He took that fraying rope from me,
"Let go, my child, I'm here for you!"
Reluctantly, my grip I loosened.
Tenderly, I was embraced.
Mercifully my Savior caught me.
Holding me in love and grace.
Now if I should start to slip and stumble.
I'll utter not a single word.
I'll let go that rope hold to,
And fall into the arms of my dear Lord!!!

Come unto me, all ye that labor
and are heavy laden and I shall
give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me;
for I am meek and lowly in
and ye shall find rest unto your soul
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
