In my hour of agony
I cried out in my pain
A loving hand appeared
And eyes with kindness never seen
Come to Me, dear one,
For I understand your need
I fell down to my knees
My eyes overflowed with tears
I felt a love so warm
A presence very near

His arms were opened wide
I felt secure, so crept inside
He whispered then, my name
Dear one, in Me you hide
You are the reason that I came
To walk and die upon this earth
I chose you before all time
I planned then for your birth

I know of every detail
Every heartache I will share
You are never all alone
Your burden mine to bear...
His eyes held fast my own
As grief fell fast away
I knew I would be safe
In all that He might say

I rose up from the floor
As He held to my hand
A peaceful calm enclosed my heart
He, my Lord, my Father, my very precious friend

"My grace is sufficient
for thee, for my strength
is made perfect in weakness."
-2 CORINTHIANS 12:9

When we are at our weakest,
God is always strong.
No burden is too great,
when Him we rest upon
"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy."
PSALM 126:5
