~ Song of Sorrow ~

As I listen to the wolves song in the moonlight
It brings to me a tune of loss and great sorrow
It reminds me of one very tragic night
When their tune of sadness I had to borrow

I cried to my Lord above asking, why me
Why He took them away and left me hurting
All He would answer was the time soon will be
When I would know the answer to these things

It was not my time except to sing this tune
Borrowed from the wolves nightly song of sorrow
For the strength He has, I would need very soon
To get me through the dark of another tomorrow

We have all had to bare our burden of pain
We question our faith, as we cry in our grief
It is not on the Lord we should lay any blame
As it is a test of our strength and belief
