Little friend so soft and warm
What did you do all day,
Getting up to mischief, all done in
What then did you play

Your paws are drooping on the edge
Softly flopping out of beat,
Leave the keyboard, say your prayers
Before you fall asleep.

Mmm, unless--you fetch a cozy quilt
And pull up a comfy chair,
If we're going to sit up half the night
Sharing all our cares.

Let's just make ourselves a coffee
What better shall we do tonight,
Than get our sighs and yawns in tune
Until the morning light.

Later on we'll send our hugs and good nights

Be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind.

There's always a lot to be thankful for
if you take time to look for it.
For example I am sitting here
thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
