A Sound So Gentle ~
The voice of the Lord, so gentle a sound
Too easy too ignore, when not seen around
His whisper of love spoken on the wind
If we ask, He will forgive us our sins
In the gentle sound of a bubbling brook
Only need listen, close your eyes, don't look
Hear the words of trust and how to depend
On faith in Him, as well as all other man
In the voice of the insects, hear how to stand
That we should live in harmony here with the land
All that surrounds us, is His voice telling us
That respect to all His creation, is now a must
So open your ears, to listen to His sound
Once again, so gentle, we can forget He is around
But we must try, every single day to see
That in His word is the way, we are set free
