~ A Storm Is Coming ~

A storm is coming our way,
Turning, disturbing the elements this day.
Preparations are being made,
Making decisions, plans are laid.

A storm is coming our way,
Get ready, do not delay.
The tempest is whirling, so dense,
Priorities in order, get cleansed.

My God, I pray to Him above,
Let your peace descend like a dove.
I cannot survive the turmoil alone,
I know Jesus, my Savior, will atone.

A storm is coming my way,
The path is clear, I won't stray.
If I center myself in Him,
His strength and love give vim.

I stand and withstand the storm,
Even though it is not the norm.
My Savior will see me through,
His protection, love is a clue.
