Slowly as the sun sets
Into the western sky
May the warmth of peace
Be always by your side.

God is there at the end of the day
To keep you safe and sound.
If you’ll just stop and listen
You’ll feel His love around.

I search deep inside myself
As the day draws to an end
To have peace within myself
The kind only God can send.

Take God’s hand He’s calling you
To help you through each day
As the sun set in the west
He’s just a prayer away.

I’ll travel the narrow road
That leads to Heaven above
I know that Jesus is with me
And I thank Him for His love.

As each day comes to an end
And you see the parting sun
Just remember to thank God
For all that He has done!
