~Tell Me Who I Am ~

Tell me who I am
For I do not always know
I have looked at rainbows
And I have seen them glow

Tell me who I am
For somehow I was lost
In this painful world of ours
I have paid the cost

Tell me who I am
What will become of me
I am in the dark
Where only Jesus sees

Tell me who I am
Love me a little, please
For I have had much hurt
Yet the Lord is there for me

Tell me who I am
Where did I begin
I try hard not to cry
Or have teardrops in my eye
Can someone hear my plea
My Jesus heard all along
He holds onto me.
