Helps hold me together.

You take the necessary time
To listen and understand;
In your own caring way...
When many others would whine;
And turn the other way.

You always seem to know
Just what to say and even do;
Whether I am down and out...
Or just simply feeling blue.

It truly helps me more
Than you will ever know;
That you give me time and space...
When I really do need it so.

Whatever life throws at me
I know you will be
Right there waiting for me.
