~ THANK YOU ~

I want to say "Thank You"
To all the soldiers far and wide
To let you know just how I feel
What really lies inside.

To let you know I appreciate
The sacrifices that you've made
So I can sleep peacefully
Such a high price you have paid.

So many won't be coming home
Their lives, they've laid on the line
To protect our country and our rights
Not once did you hear them whine.

My heart goes out to all the families
Of the fallen soldiers, I know they grieve
Your sons and daughters won't be forgotten
They were brave and did what they believed.

These words of thanks goes out to all
The soldiers who've fought in all the wars
All the branches of the services
To the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

I hold you all in my prayers
Thank God you do what you must do
To fight for what this country believes in
Again I say "THANK YOU!"
