Wishing good nights, as light says goodbye
Laying down gently to watch twinkles up high
Whispering goodnight, while we sing lullabies
Closing eyes tight, pretty moonbeams to ride

Shadowy clouds drifting near past the moon
Kissing goodnight, I'll see you soon
Angels are watching, we're all warm and snug
There's nothing to fear, for we are so loved

Laying to rest, sweet dreams softly fly
God's watching us all, there's no need to sigh
Yesterday is over, tomorrow is nigh
We can pray as we lie, so safe through the night
