When I think of you, my love
I have to stop and smile
For even though we're far apart
You're with me all the while.

I think of you each day I awake
And each night when l go to bed
Even when l am out and about
Thoughts of you run through my head.

We have so much in common, dear
I want to share everything with you.
You are just so much a part of me
That it's really hard not to.

But for now, I can only dream about
The day we won't be so far apart.
When I will really be able to have you,
Not just here within my heart.
