When the sun has set at night
And folk have come and gone
As you struggle to carry on
While feeling quite alone
You long so for a gentle touch
A love your very own
Someone close to chat to
Who will somehow know
How to take away the heaviness
With a comfort that is real
To make sense of the unknown
And every heartache feel
A friend who will comprehend
How to understand
Be there in joy and tears
To hold onto your hand
For the times in life when God
Works His mysterious ways
That leave us in the dark
And we want the hurt to go away
Yet He is calling, just believe
As He is doing all He can
To draw us to His heart
And trust His loving plan
I will be here my dearest friend
And pray you will be blessed
To find that wondrous peace
In knowing God's ways, are always the very best

"Look...and watch—and be utterly amazed.
For I, the Lord, am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe, even if you were told.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it will certainly come and will not delay.
Though the fig tree does not bud and there
are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
He enables me to go on the heights.
