~ To Dream A Dream ~
I would like to dream a dream
To wake up and see your loving face
I dream a dream that we can meet someplace
I see us skating in soft misty light
There to float in pure delight

I dream a dream, I am a beautiful butterfly
Soaring in a cloud so high
The multi-color of my wings
Is for the angels when they sing
Try to catch me if you will
I will hold onto your heart
Such is the love I feel

To dream a dream of love to be
Someone to love me, my soul to see
To gaze upon me with their eyes and love with all their heart
When they see me sitting here quite still
They will not depart

It does not matter who I am
Or if I have a heart unknown
When I dream my dream,
My one true love will not walk away,
Because he knows my soul
He will never let me go.

To dream a dream
There is no hurt or pain
I do not have a memory
Attached to my name
Please when I wake
Hold your hand out to me, I promise I will take
Kiss my lips so tenderly
Take me from my cage of dreams
So I can be free.
