As the explorers did
so many years ago
Taking a chance to
learn what they don't
know.
You leave the dock
with passion's on fire
Making a commitment to
follow your desires.
First calm seas as we
have already been
there
Had knowledge of
rocks, when love first
declared.
If weather gets bad,
close cove for shelter
While still sailing in
well traveled water.
In uncharted seas,
your inner will tested
Where currents may
change, slowing your
quest.
Storms of rage do
battle with very rough
seas
Dead calm where you
languish, without any
breeze.
Get through the bad to
the winds at your back
New places to chart,
be the first for eyes
cast.
Islands of harvest
from such paradise yet
found
Songs from the
wilderness, such a
loving sound.
As with those whose
commitment's are true
Land of discovery,
soon comes into our
view.
Making it to safe
harbor, as our voyage
was made
Our love too will last
forever, never to
break.
