~ A Walk With My Brother ~
My brother as my dear friend, we walk
And hear the birds so sweetly sing
As we stroll, we hear the ocean
We talk of all our lives will bring
We are so different
But in our eyes we know
There is a connection made
In the features that we show
In each other we can see our Mom
As we feel the breeze upon our face
What words to thank each other for this bond
In sharing of our family traits
He accepts me as I am
My soul reflected in the eyes he sees
I love him as my own
He is my blood, the heart of me
God smiles and blesses us
For all we find in each other's heart
As we walk along together
In the beauty of a park

Do you remember me
The people's poet
Written for my brother Tom Buchler
Listening to the wind of change
The world is closing in
Did you ever think
That we could be so close, like brothers
The future's in the air
I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change
Walking down the street
Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
The wind of change blows straight
Into the face of time
Like a storm wind that will ring
The freedom bell for peace of mind
Let your balalaika sing
What my guitar wants to say
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me
