What Composes Me ~
A little bit of silent mystery
A whole bunch of childish play
More than a dab or two of color
And all I wish that I could say
Wandering aimlessly
But knowing all along, the way
A barrel full of mischief
All the memory gathered close
The little things I can't remember
Whatever's never lost
Words that drift along on angel's song
Tunes that echo, on and on
Love, a lot, from those that matter most
Knowing where I might be from
Why I'm here today
And faith for all the future rests upon
Sweetest little tenderlings
That look up with knowing eyes
Flowers, roses, buttercups
Such pretties under God's blue skies
Giving, whatever lovely comes to mind
So another may be feeling warm
Sleeping sweetly, safe and snug
Waking rested on the morn
To watch the sun then open wide
The promise of another dawn
Special moments, sharing joys
Crying over all that's good and true
Knowing friends
Being a very special friend
With one, especially nice as you

From quiet homes and first beginning,
out to the undiscovered ends,
there's nothing worth the wear of winning,
laughter and the love of everlasting friends.
