When the rain falls, will I be able to see a rainbow
When the rain falls, will I find love
When the rain falls, will I meet a new friend
Will I find myself, once again

When the rain falls, will I feel the drops
Will I close myself off, in my tears
When the rain falls, will I take your hand, my friend
Will I see the beauty of the fallen leaves
Will I smile at the birds and bumble bees

When the rain falls, will I be washed clean
Will I smell the grass and the ocean air
When the rain falls, can I see everywhere
Can I feel the sand beneath my feet
Watch the seagulls as they dive deep
Fish are waiting, a new dawn is breaking

When the rain falls, will I find my way
When the rain stops it will be another day
I love life, if only it will let me in
I want to be free once again
