Follow the trail through the cold snow drifts
To the cabin hidden among the trees so deep
Smell the pungent wood smoke in the air
A stew will be on the fire when you get there
A cold wind blows, giving you the chills
You can see the cabin ahead on the side of the
hill
You look up into the sky full of moon and stars
Northern lights dancing, colors of art
You feel the warmth as the door slowly opens
Heading to the fireplace, as the flames need
stoking
Then off with your boots, down to your shirt
Hug and kiss for your partner, a sweet little
flirt
A bowl of stew with a hot drink by it's side
Finish it up under the flame's flickering light
So you can cuddle up warm in front of the fire
With the one you know is your heart's desire
A winter cabin up in the forest is a dream
Still more available than you can believe
One of these days I will make it come true
