Come meet me at the corner gate
Beneath the walnut tree
Where the snow is soft and new
And falling such a treat

We'll wrap up in our warmest coats
Our scarves, snow boots and all
And wander down the snowy lane
On this fresh winter morn

Bring a basket of fresh cookies
I shall have a steaming flask
A warming rest we will enjoy
In the shelter of the barn

Don't forget your knitted mittens
And your lovely smile
I think with all the catching up to do
We'll be visiting a while

I miss all the moments
we could be together.
