~ A Baby
Cries ~
A baby cries, within the womb
Moves about, within it's tomb
Kicking, sleeping, lying there
Alive, and very much aware

Hoping for the chance at life
A gift from God, a shining light
Waiting for the chance to give
To walk, and talk, and simply live

Tiny hands, and feet so small
Praying for that chance to crawl
To hug, to kiss, and hold a hand
A babies right, should always stand

A blessing they'll forever be
If only given the chance, you see
A chance to sing, a chance to play
A chance to "love" your tears away

God chooses who's to be a mother
Make no mistake, there is no other
Even if your life isn't so bright
This tiny bundle, can make it right

This little miracle that may just be
Just wants the chance, like you, and me
Take it to God in prayer this day
Before you throw it all away.
