A breeze is causing the trees to sway
And leaves softly fall to the ground
Hummingbirds flitter this way and that
Activity in the woods abounds.

A message they all seem to receive
They know winter will soon be here
But yet they find time to frolic and play
They too love this time of year.

But soon the cold will be upon us
Old Man Winter will blanket the land
With frost and sleet and lots of snow
Just by waving his frosty hands.
