Will share secrets in the dead of night
Waiting gently for the dawn of light
Gladly celebrate little tender joys,
Or come with comfort in the sorrow-
Sweetly muse on sentimental memories
And dream about the new tomorrow

Enjoy talking about ordinary things
Every simple pleasure that it brings
'Cause desiring friendship to build-
A friend like you will
Pray through all the teary hurts
And delight in every funny little quirk

They will miss someone very much
Think of them with a lot of love
With the hope that together,
Friends will always want to be
Close now and all eternity, like you-
Have always sought to be a friend to me
