~ All Too Soon ~
We just now sat
And talked awhile,
Was oh so good
To see you smile.
I always plan on
Coffee with you,
And sharing things
We each plan to do.
Then all too soon
We’ve said goodbye,
Sometimes it just makes
Me want to sit and cry.
But we’ll meet again
When day is done,
And talk once more,
Just like we were one.
So for now, my love,
This way, it has to be,
But I dream of the day,
When your face I’ll see.
One day, we will walk
Side by side, hand in hand,
For I know, my love,
It’s in God’s great plan.
