I meet God in the garden to pray
Alone with my thoughts each day
I ask for His guidance and aid
And forgive all errors I have made.

Alone with my thoughts at the start
I give Jesus the key to my heart
As I pray, my thoughts become lighter
My outlook on life so much brighter.

Alone with my thoughts I pray
To see good in those that pass my way
To speak with a soft voice full of cheer
And may others know I am sincere.

Alone with my thoughts I am patient
For God's goodness to prevail
My prayers never go unanswered
And His loving grace will never fail.
