I send my love to you, Dear Dad
To me you mean everything
You are a dad to be proud of
I love you so much
And am your friend to keep

A love so true, I have for you
For everything you do and say
A daughter could only be close
To a dad so dear,
The best in every way

I feel how you'd hug and kiss me
I would run to your arms
You always picked me up
Such love I felt from you
Deep within my heart

Because of the way you always treated me
I learned to love other people too
You gave a love like no other
I am glad God gave me you
