~ A Man Called Jesus ~

On the shores of Galilee
A man called Jesus walked
Greeting all who heeded Him
Took time with them and talked

Inspiring them to come to God
And lay their burdens down
Telling them of His Father
Spreading His word around

He always gave the invitation
For folks to walk with Him
He even blessed them with a meal
When they had no lunch with them

He had compassion on all men
No matter who they were
Helped the man on the Jericho road
And even provided for more

Took him to the inn for care
Asked them to watch over him
Then said as He was leaving
If it's not enough, I'll come again

I will pay the debt
No matter what the cost
That is why I'm here among you
To pay the debt of the lost
