~ A New Start ~

I have had a few trials
But my blessings are not a few
God has been so good to me
He made my heart brand new

I have sung my sad songs
But my glad songs are filling my soul
I have lived with little to give
But it's different since He took control

I've climbed steep mountains
Cried tears that just overflowed
Walked thru valleys deep
But God was with me I know

For I came thru the bad times
With Jesus beside me
And victory was always mine
Thru me, now Jesus' light shines

I'm a child of the King, He took me in
And put a new song in my heart
Built me a mansion in glory
Gave me that brand new start!
