~ Another Year ~
Now the time has come once more
To do what we've always done before
Out with the old, and in with the new
We must move forward, there's much to do
Our world is at war with foes in the east
Let's use our prayers to win the peace
A new year always means a new start
So let us be hopeful, let us be a part
Of whatever good that possibly can be
Making our world better, for you and me
New years have always become the old
Lets work with a purpose, our stories be told
To live for Jesus, the way He wants us to
Work for Him in this year anew
He's brought us through trials, the very worst
Let us remember, always put God first
Then we will have another new year
When this one is over and the time is here
Unless it's the time that He will appear
To take us to heaven to live with Him there!
