You said that you could use a smile,
To brighten up your day.
To fill your day with sunshine,
And help along the way.

You said that it would be a gift,
If you could see more smiles.
It would help you on your journey,
As you walk these next few miles.

You’re a very special person,
Who has always brought smiles to me.
You always spread God’s love around,
And you are delightful company.

So if all you want is to see some smiles,
How can I turn away?
I’ll smile and thank God for His gift,
Of sending you my way.

I pray that everywhere you go,
God’s Son will see you through.
And every smile you see today,
Will be God’s gift to you.
