~ As This Day Unfolds ~

Guide me as this day unfolds,
Use the wisdom in my soul.
Open up my heart to see
Another lonely soul in need.

Give me knowledge to impart
To that cold and vengeful heart...
Let the love from You flow free,
So others see yourself in me.

Help me not to go astray
As I travel thru my day,
Keep me ever in your care,
Don't let me leave you anywhere.

For I need your tender touch,
Lord, I need your strength so much,
Lead me in the way you will,
Help my hurting heart be still.

Let me give back good for bad,
For any painful choice I've had.
Help my heart forgiving be,
Show the better side of me.

Seeking shelter from the storm,
Renew my faith each predawn morn,
Help my soul to you to plea,
Help my spirit, you to seek.

Let the love flow back in me,
For all the vengeful souls in need.

As this gifted day unfolds,
Keep me safe within your hold.
Keep your gentle hand on me,
To help the vengeful souls in need.
