~ A Thanksgiving Rose ~
I send you this thanksgiving
rose
to bring you close to me,
You are in my heart
and in my soul which sees.
When you get this lovely rose
water it with care, to grow
Your thanksgiving garden,
the sweetest that you know.
Remember that I love you
and that I always will,
I wait for you to knock at my
door
For I will love you still.
In your hands you hold
the sweet Thanksgiving rose,
Upon the petals fine
I see a tear drop falls.
I know in my heart you always
will be mine,
Have the best Thanksgiving
you can ever find.
I place within your heart
for all the world to see,
A sweet Thanksgiving rose
your true love to me
