'Author unknown'
is the saddest of lines.
A name has been lost
in the passage of time.
Someone penned a story
that brings us a tear;
unacknowledged they will
stay
through all the years.
So remember my name,
please write it down,
when you copy my poems
and pass them around.
I want to be known
for the words that I
write
be remembered by those
I've helped through the
night.
'Author unknown'
is the saddest of lines
let me not be forgotten
in the passage of time.
